Not your usual Valentine’s

I would be hypocritical if I said I wasn’t as excited as the other couples out there to actually celebrate Valentine’s Day with that one person you love. But heck, we didn’t even plan it. We were busy with each of our own workloads in the confines of our own offices when suddenly one goes– “Hun, you wanna go have dinner tonight? My treat.” And the other goes, “Sure, as long we see that [cheesy date] movie the town is so hyped about.”

And we just did it. It was just a usual date out, nothing fancy. We went to our usual place and went around. If we didn’t know better, we would’ve thought that the streets are just a bit crowdier than usual (And wonder why are there so many couples holding flowers around in a given moment). In fact, we just sat by the coffee shop and watched the rest of the world, and made fun how these people celebrate the day. To sum it up, we didn’t actually celebrate the 14th, we just did what we always did– hang out together.

Well, Valentine’s IS a celebration of love, not of couples. And you can still show your love to that special someone on other occasions. And well, giving time for each other is all that matters.

On other great news, it’s exciting that Metroblogging Manila is finally up! Aja!

So what was that cheesy movie?

Nice to see a couple that doesn’t hold too much importance for VD. :)

oh the one that stars 2 of the “feathered” couples in TV today… ;)

And yes, very cheesy. It was more of a laugh-trip movie than a date movie
