To the market we go

Where there was barren land and vacant lots in The Fort at Taguig Metro Manila, stands the large new shopping mall, Market! Market!. The family happened to give it a visit yesterday, and so far, I didn’t like it.
Sure, the area is big, lots of open-air parking space (but already full by the time we arrived!), big parking building (cramp!) and it has completely awe-struck me with how huge the building is (yes, huge). But it wasn’t to my liking.
For one, it was too crowded for me. I know my mom can be very sensitive about crowds, and I am not one usual to complain. But the crowd!!!
It was probably the summer heat, so there are people lounging about to hog the new aircons. And also the fact that it was Sunday– but still! Just imagine a clearance between the boutiques and stalls are 3-5 meters across, yet I can barely walk through it because of so many people! With so many people, I can barely appreciate the “newness” of the mall. I couldn’t appreciate the displays on the windows. And honestly, I wasn’t able to go around the whole mall because it felt tiring because (you guessed it) the crowd.
Or it was probably the mall tour of one of the showing Telenovelas that was happening at the activity area. *shrugs* Just goes to show how curious people will get just to see ’stars’.

it was okay, from what little i’ve seen when we went there a month ago. nothing special though :-/
yup, nothing special. + the crowd. >.yup, nothing special. + the crowd. >.
Market! Market! was one of the shopping centers that I had the chance to visit on my recent trip to Manila, and admittedly, it failed to impress. I was however amazed at how much the surrounding area reminded me of Irvine, California.
