5 things Manila visitors must eat.

If there are only 5 things visitors to Manila must eat when they come visit. They should try some of these rather exotic dishes:

5. Balut - The english translation of Aborted Duck Egg does not give it justice.
4. Sisig - What can be more delicous than chopped parts of pig’s face served on a hot plate?
3. Kwek-kewk - Take a high cholesterol quail egg, dip it in a healthy serving of batter and deep fry for good measure.
2. Isaw - Bar-b-qed chicken guts anyone?
1. Adobo - It’s the national dish right? Chicken or pork simmered in some soy and vinegar and perhaps the only normal dish on this list.

    i eat the yellow part of balut and give the rest to my dogs. haven’t tried kwek kwek. but not sure about isaw. it’s hard to eat something that’s obviously an intestine impaled on a stick. -_-;
