UAAP Champions

Far Eastern University won game two of the UAAP Seniors Basketball Championship to sweep the finals, defeating De La Salle University. Arwind Santos of FEU got the MVP title and practically bagged all the other awards in game 2. It was an intense fight, with FEU winning by just 2 points.

Good game. Everyone was a bit tense because of what happened in game 1–La Salle’s assistant team manager hit Arwind Santos on the head after La Salle lost. Manny Salgado has since been banned for life from the UAAP. It’s good that both teams seemed to have put game 1 behind them to concentrate on today’s game.

Far Eastern University gathered its nerves, its composure and its comeback formula right where it mattered most, as the Tams turned things around in the homestretch yet again, beating the De La Salle Green Archers, 73-71, to capture their second championship title in three years.
