SEA Games on TV

I wasn’t able to watch the complete SEA Games opening in Manila the other night. However I was able to catch a bit of the fireworks display and the presentation by Rivermaya and the Philharmonic Orchestra, with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. There were many people at the Quirino Grandstand and a group of them even had face paint on to show support for the Filipino athletes.

My sister and I were able to catch some of the events on Channels 5 and 13. Dancesport was something nice to watch. The dresses were amazing and the couples on the dancefloor looked awesome! It was nice that the there was a 1-2 finish by the Filipino dancesport pairs. I didn’t get to see the wushu event in the Emilio Aguinaldo gym though. Oh well. But I did hear a news flash that there was a gold medal won. Absolutely cool.
