Well, no crashes yet, but the booms and bangs are definitely getting louder in our village. And it’s only 8 o’clock in the evening, and it’s sure to get even louder as midnight nears.

Must close all the windows. And thank god for ear plugs.

Anyway, savor the last couple of hours of 2005, and welcome 2006 with a bang! (And not a crash!)
