it's okay mark armstrong... Americans are not as sensitive as we are. They are very "straight to the point" when voicing out what they think about certain things. It's their sickness. And it's our sickness of being too polite and respecting other people's culture. :)

Actually, even if I'm a Filipino and a patron of Jollibee, I still don't like their burgers. They're dry and has too much pepper. But the palabok is one of my favorite meals.
But please, people, there's no need to argue. After all, us Filipinos would say the same thing for their own American food chains. We all have different tastes. But Filipinos do have a more flexible sense of taste unlike Americans.

just read it! and this pamperson is supposed to be a writer and yet she sounds so narrow-minded. the average american (from my impression) can't go beyond their own selves; they don't care beyond their country, their culture (most of them). to them, the world stops at their door. who can blame them? everywhere you look, american culture pervades....so when a big pinoy franchise invades their shores, they don't exactly sing praises about it. why? it's not american. this pam lady and her group of idiotic friends are pseudo-intellectuals who don't know crap. they did not know when they slammed jollibee, it's like insulting another culture. like i said they don't know crap.
