Fountain beneath the flyover
I find it weird that under the Buendia flyover, there is a fountain. Actually, now that I think about it, there are two of them. I prefer seeing fountains unhindered by any other structures so that the beauty of water flowing out of it will be appreciated all the more. I couldn’t take pictures using my cameraphone because the resolution is just too low and the glare of the morning light makes it look terrible.
When I see structures like these, I wonder, “Why does the government bother putting them up?” I like parks wherein people could rest, have fun, even study - but such fountains? I think it’s a waste of money and now that I am working, I could feel the pain in my pockets everytime I look at my payslip and how much tax money goes to waste.

I just stepped out of college and I feel terribly disappointed with the government already. I wonder how terrible our system can get… :(
