No this is not going to be about Angel Locsin’s latest teleserye “Majika” which also uses the term “salamanca”. It’s more about Dean Alfar ^[1]’s latest offering.

Salamanca, which won the Grand Prize for Novel in the 2005 Palanca Awards ^[2] and was first published online through NaNoWriMo, is now being offered by the Ateneo Press ^[3]. An excerpt is available here ^[4].
