Summer in Manila - Relax with a Spa Treatment
One of the ways to give your body a break this summer is through a Spa treatment. There are a lot of Spas in the metro and you may have tried a couple of them so here’s a short listing of some of the ones we’ve tried. If you have your own favorites or want to share your experience, post ‘em up.
Suriya Spa (Gold’s Gym Glorietta)
We tried the Hot Stone Massage which is an exotic treatment where heated rocks are placed on pressure points (like along your spine). The treatment was very relaxing and soothing and took about an hour. Price was not bad for P1,350.00 (tax not included) and service was excellent.

The Spa (Alabang Town Center)
When one masseuse is not enough, why not have two? This is the whole idea behind The Spa’s Twin Massage. Two professionally trained therapists work in sync to give a really relaxing massage and the experience is absolute indulgence.

Pinnacle Health Pointe (Libis)
As one of the more affordable establishments in the area, we tried Pinnacle Health Pointe’s Shiatsu which is a form of therapeutic massage. The treatment did well for my back and the service was excellent. The price is not bad and services range from P300 to P1,500.

There are a lot of other Spas out there so give your body a break this summer and get a Spa treatment! For first times, remember that most establishments request that you set up an appointment and doing so cuts back on unnecessary queues on your part.
