Caloy kills 24, blacks out Manila and cancels flights

Landslides, flashfloods, power outages, cancelled flights and embarkations all over the Metro and the rest of Philippines as tropical storm Caloy (international name Chanchu) passed over Luzon. Power has been restored in most areas of Manila while 2 ships are reported to have sunk including the ferry MV May Ann where 5 are still missing. The NDCC (National Disaster Coordinating Council) have been put on alert.
