Manila High
I have been listening to the songs by the band Kala. I first saw the video of their song Jeepney on Channel 23 and I got hooked to the song. Right now, I am listening to the tracks on their album Manila High and I can’t help but enjoy the songs. They are upbeat and funky. One of the tracks I really like is Parapap. Another is the mix of their carrier single Jeepney. As my SO puts it, Kala reminds him of POT but with with a smoother vibe and I agree with him on that.

But nowhere near POT in terms of lyrics.
For example: “Magkakilala ba tayo, ay hinde eh pasensya na.” What the hell was that?
Isn’t Jeepney a remake? :)
Anyway, I’ll definitely check out that album. Oh and what’s POT?
Steady Ruxpin: That line I think is more like a dialogue or monologue, depending on how you’d like to see it. If a dialogue, it’s the girl who said, ay hindi e. Then the guy said ‘pasensya na’ or it could be his monologue – or maybe he thought the girl looked like someone he knew or saw before. etc. Then he probably realized it was someone else altogether. I like the ‘edginess’ of POT. Iba pa rin :)
Peter: Don’t know if it’s a remake actually. You haven’t heard of POT at all?
