Water, Water Everywhere

Old-timers talk of siyam-siyam storms when it used to rain non-stop for nine days.

We’ve only had less than twelve hours of sporadic rain and already, schools and government offices have shut down.
Vital roads will have been flooded by now, with rainwater and people. Traffic will be heavy and will make for a lot of violent outbursts and foul invectives, none of which will be light to moderate. By this time tomorrow, we’ll be swimming with the Marikina janitor fishes.

Lechon Street

Lechon on the RoadLechon is love.

I think what make these lechon taste good is the extra special ingredient the street adds to the pig. Do they wipe them clean before they sell it or are these lechon for display only?
