3 people are killed every day in Metro
Four persons die violently every day in Calabarzon, while three meet the same fate in Metro Manila.
According to the Philippine National Police (PNP), the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon, which make up Calabarzon, recorded 1,352 killings in 2004 and 1,290 in 2005. From January to June this year, 641 cases of homicide and murder have been recorded.
Not reassuring at all even if some of the cases can be mistagged (Murder instead of Homicide?) according to the news report. Anyway, if this is an upward Trend, the police definitely has to do something.

Such a sad news! That’s why nowadays, everyone should be careful enough. Maybe the killings mostly are, in a sense, political, because of the nasty and lousy government that we have. I always thought of immigrating to other countries which are much safer and perhaps give a peaceful life and higher standard of living…
political? har-har. Goodness, progressive countries even have serial killers. the twin towers political crime claimed thousands of lives. i encourage “thinking Filipinos” to make an exodus to New York ASAP, so the rest of the unemployed citizens here can have decent jobs, once and for all, he-he!
Are you kidding every day here you read it in the news,you watch on TV. you hear it radio and etc. All I could tell you is pray that nothing will happen bad to you,your family, frind and etc.
the news? goodness, channels 2 and 7, and the inquirer will do everything to sell advertisements, top polls and stay popular hence, sensationalized journalism. i have two cousins who are NPAs, well, used to be NPAs, the older one’s retired while the younger one fled to China to sing in a band to escape her co-NPAs for putting her on the top 10 list of “co-workers to be killed”. I still watch gma-7 and I always wait for Ruth Cabal to go before the cam. she’s hilarious, always taking every chance to get back on gloria after the latter put her to shame in one of her “poor” coverage of the government’s projects. ahh, majority of paranoid filipinos in manila are really zombies, after all… so, i say, go flee paranoid ones, pronto! go to new york (peaceful? i doubt, remember the twin towers) and madrid (nice bomb blowing in the metro’s train, remember?), terrorists are everywhere naman, eh.
