CBTL at Paseo Center

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Finally! The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf comes to Paseo Center. It opened just a few weeks ago and I sure am happy. CBTL is the only place I know that serves English Breakfast lattes. Mmmmm. That’s a fantastic comfort drink. Anyway, the only complaint I have about CBTL Paseo is the way it is designed. The place is wide open to the communal area of Paseo Center. You sit on that comfortable chair and hear the sounds of people going up and down the escalator, going around the stalls of clothes and gadgets… not really relaxing. I wish they enclosed their area so it would be more comfortable to the customers. It’s not really relaxing when you’re drinking that cup of tea or coffee exposed to the hustle and bustle of non-CBTL customers. It doesn’t have the same cozy feel other CBTL shops have. Ah well, at least I can have a quick English Breakfast latte fix when I need it.

Wow! Coffee Bean is sprouting like crazy! I wonder if they’re trying to copy the Starbuck’s mantra of saturating the market?

Kainis! I used to live near Salcedo Park and when we moved back to QC they opened up a CBTL there. Isa pa ito, malapit naman sa dati kong office. Grr talaga :P

Like you I love their tea lattes :D
