Billboards No More?

Billboards No More?

Not really. While some billboards have gone back up, others remain as bare as they were when Milenyo stripped off their signs. Frankly, it’s refreshing not to see a lot of billboard clutter. While it is a good venue for advertisers to help consumers make informed decisions, it is good that going back up in the sky will require compliance with stricter codes now. Better late than ever, I suppose.

Looking forward to stricter rules and regulations on putting up billboards. That will protect us from billboard related accidents. I agree, better late than never.

Now this news makes me happy :) I don’t know if the billboards were as effective as advertisers think, because there were so many that I often didn’t bother looking at them during my morning MRT rides.

It sucks that there’s still a tro on the dismantling of billboards, anyway, I hope they rid these things before they kill someone else.
