This is by no means a sure guarantee, though but one assumes these companies keep a better eye on their drivers and car units. Also, if you have the time, save the main numbers of major taxi companies operating in your area and call them when you need transpo. The main office sends a call out to units near your office/house/etc. By far the safest mode of getting a commute ride imo. And always text a taxi's serial number, name of cab company, and license plate no, to a loved one/your boss etc. while in transit. It's what i do. Better safe (and paranoid hehe) than sorry.
