Happy Astronomy Week!
When was the last time you’ve visited the Planetarium? When you were nine or ten? How about the last time you’ve seen Mars rise up with the moon? This week is a great way to catch up on the stars - the heavenly kind - with the start of National Astronomy Week.
For this year’s theme, the Astronomical League of the Philippines looks to the future with “Shaping the Future of Philippine Astronomy”. Check out the 1st ALP Astrophoto exhibit at the Planetarium starting on the 18th and until the 24th. If you missed the stargazing session last Sunday. There’s two more -first is on the 21st at the Science Centrum in Riverbanks, Marikina (starts 7:30PM) and another on the 24th at the Rajah Sulayman Park in Baywalk (starts 6:00PM).
This is the perfect time for you to catch up on the stars so enjoy the National Astronomy Week!
