Mannang’s at Megamall

I’ve seen Mannang’s several times but would pass by the place only when I’d go to Mann Hann, the Chinese restaurant on its left, or Our Home, the furniture store on its right. I was really glad one of our friends suggested we try Mannang’s.

We ordered Tofu Sisig, Fish Fillet in Coconut Milk, Spicy Chicken, Pork Barbecue. Not in picture is the delicious Sinigang na Corned Beef. We also had bottled water each, 1 litre of iced tea, a cup of rice per person. The grand total was P1,300++ for 7 people. So peg your Mannang’s dinner at about P200++ per head. Not bad. The servings are for sharing and the selections all good.
The acoustics are a bit tricky though. Even with the loud voices my friends and I had, we’d have trouble hearing one another sometimes. It all added to the fun of the evening, but if the place got any noisier I was afraid we’d end the night with sore throats. Well, with good company that will add to the fun.
Mannang’s can be found at the basement of SM Megamall A. It is at the far end of that wing, right under Powerbooks. The place is best enjoyed with a big group. Don’t forget to order the Sinigang na Corned Beef!
