When the conversation turns to the upcoming election, people would list who they would vote and why they would vote for them.

A couple of people I know, however, claimed that they have no interest in voting. But, they said that they would still go to their prescint, in hopes of getting money. Isn’t that just so sad? They continued, believing that there would be mass cheating anyway, so why bother voting?

Come Monday, I will enter that voting booth, writing down names who I believe would bring change. Mass cheating or not, at least I know that I voted for the people I believe in, whether they win or lose.

Bun on the Run disappeared and then came back, right? I’m not sure if I remember correctly. I do remember my Dad bringing home some pastries and brownies from this shop when I was a kid. I also remember seeing the store along Katipunan several years ago. So is this a comeback? I’m not sure. Comeback or not, my husband was ecstatic and encouraged me to try their Chori Burger. It is apparently a classic Bun on the Run sandwich. I did try it and found it too salty. Guess that’s what you get when you turn a chorizo into a burger. I was hoping they had some of those memorable brownies my Dad had shared with me from eons ago. They didn’t. But anyway, if Bun on the Run is part of your past and you’d want to go down the path of nostalgia again, we spotted this Bun on the Run joint in Metrowalk, Pasig.
