Hands on Manila Orientation

If you’re interested in doing some charity work in the Manila area, and if you’re unsure of which kind of charity work you’d like to get involved in, e.g. teaching, saving the environment, feeding programs, etc., check out Hands On Manila.

According to their site, this is their mission:

“Hands on Manila is a non-profit organization that provides flexible volunteer opportunities for community service in Metro Manila. It recruits, coordinates and educates a broad base of volunteers for non-profit organizations.”

They are holding an orientation on June 28, Thursday, 6 pm at Powerbooks Greenbelt. Do go early as the area gets filled up quite quickly. Learn about their organization and the many ways you can make better use of your free time. You can also find more details on their site.
