At the Nestle Creamery

[1]My hubby and I found ourselves near the former Magnolia House last weekend. Feeling sentimental, we made our way towards the ice cream house which is now called The Nestle Creamery.
I remember sitting in huge dark green seats as a kid. I remember ordering strawberry ice cream, and that the scoops would be decorated like a clown! The cone would be the clown hat, candies would make up its eyes and mouth.
The Nestle Creamery now is bright and airy. The huge seats are still there, now chocolate brown. My husband and I felt like children all over again, and so we ordered Pinoy Style Spaghetti, Cheeseburger, Mushroom Pops (I made up that title; I don’t remember what it was called) and a Banana Split Ice Cream Cake. Fantastic. The spaghetti was sweet and cheesy – Pinoy style it was! The cheeseburger was very tasty and hearty. The deep fried mushroom appetizers were good, though I would’ve preferred more mushroom and less batter. The Banana Split Ice Cream Cake was divine!
It was a fun meal! I’m looking forward to going back and trying out the other ice cream concoctions and delicious meals. Nice way to spend with family too!
