Hostage taking in Taguig passes 18 hour mark, negotiations still on going.

A man has taken four people hostage at the Regional Trial Court in Taguig since about 2PM yesterday. When I passed by the court 10PM on my way home last night, a throng of onlookers were still gathered at the gates and as of 8AM today, the negotiations were still on going.

According to ABS-CBN News, The hostages, were lawyers Donna Dunuan and Frederick Ballesteros; court stenographer Liwanag Saloma and complainant Gina Ramos. Actor Robin Padilla is also being tapped to help out in negotiations. Classes were canceled in the adjacent High School and Elementary.

    Well, the man’s dead..shot by the policemen and the grenade he held exploded..Glad nobody else got hurt although it’s sad that it couldnt’ be resolved without anyone getting dead..Peace everybody…
