Spotted at Market! Market!

With possibly the largest bookstore in the metro just recently opened in Bonifacio High Street, the bookworm in me couldn’t help but check out the newest Fully Book branch opened in town. There’s 5 floors of books - including a basement filled with graphic novels and a 4th floor filled with CDs - all bound to keep book lovers coming back for more. The Starbucks on the third floor is also great for starting that new book purchase with a cup of coffee. Anyway, we’ll feature more of High Street in the coming weeks so stay tuned.

Looking to catch a glimpse of France? Of Switzerland? If it sounds romantic, the captured scenery looks even more so.

“Images de Suisse et de France: les gens, les paysages, les evenments (Images of Switzerland and France: people, places and events par Raoul ),” a photo exhibit by Raul J. Teehankee, is now open at Level 3 of the EDSA Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong; it will run until August 31. The exhibit was designed by professional photographer and art director Nykko Santos.

I was astounded when I went there last Wednesday. A total of 40 photographs were on display, all of which focused on the festivals, events, mountains, and people of Switzerland, as well as those of her next door neighbor, France.

I see a man and a woman about to share their first kiss. What do you see? Spotted near Pan Pacific Manila, nearing twilight.

I’ve been wanting to take a picture of the famous Manila Bay sunset for the longest time. last Saturday, I stopped making excuses and made my way to Baywalk.

Manila Bay did not disappoint. The clichéd saying hold true: the best things in life are free.

The 31st Milo Marathon. July 22. Six o’clock in the morning. Over 12,000 runners. 3, 5, 10, then 42 kilometers of distance to be covered. (An astounding 100 kilometers for The North Face’s coinciding “Run For Your Life“!) P30,000 at stake for the champion’s purse.
